Module: Independent Studies 

Dissertation on: Imagination, Creativity, Making and Materials through linking art to the National Curriculum This module is continuation in developing and consolidating praxis and position as artist teacher. Individually and collaboratively exploring interwoven practices underpinned by theoretical frameworks. This process enables through planning and executing a structured programme of independent research that draws upon pedagogy and contemporary art and theory, critically applying themes and issues developed through the MAAT programme. This 5000 word essay will focus on the development of the linked art curriculum in the art room as well as a 1000 words statement and an exhibition. The exhibition will focus on Imagination and the creation of a wall paper design based in children’s free drawings.
